Introduction
Joy Labs was founded in July 2018 and consists of founders, leaders, and engineers from SendGrid (acq by Twilo), Apple, and others. In 2019 the team began building a platform that will not only improve messaging, but invent new ways to enable borderless communication for consumers and businesses. With the introduction of an email + messaging app called Memo (memo.com), bringing a refresh to email and providing users control of who and how others can engage them is just the beginning. Memo is not just another email client, but a service to provide a new holistic approach to email for consumers and businesses. Memo is in a closed, private beta for iOS with a public beta slated for Q3 2020.
